Senior Software Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with business units, stakeholders, and developers to ensure the software architecture aligns with business and strategic objectives.

• Define, develop, and enforce architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices.

• Create and align feasible architectural concepts based on both functional and technical requirements.

• Ensure compliance with architectural standards during implementations and offer technical guidance to development teams.

• Maintain a comprehensive application and system landscape, including all dependencies and integrations.

• Assess new technologies (such as cloud and AI) while identifying and mitigating potential technical risks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Several years of experience in software development, preferably in roles such as software architect, lead developer, or senior engineer.

• Strong understanding of modern software architectures, integration landscapes, and system design.

• Proven experience in collaborating with stakeholders and translating business needs into technical architectures.

• Solid grasp of current technologies and trends (including cloud platforms, DevOps, and AI).

• Ability to provide technical consulting, coach development teams, and uphold quality standards.

• Structured and analytical working style with a keen awareness of technical risks and sustainable solutions.

• Proficient in German and good command of English.
