Senior Software Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Software Architecture Design: Develops the technical layout and structure of the software, selecting the most suitable technologies, languages, and design patterns.

• Coordination and Oversight: Leads and coordinates the development team, allocating tasks and ensuring that the entire project meets the defined standards.

• Establishing Standards: Defines coding norms and quality, security, and maintainability standards that the project must adhere to.

• Technical Communication: Engages with various stakeholders, such as clients and product managers, to understand requirements and convey the technical solution.

• Problem Solving: Addresses technical challenges that arise during development and evaluates solutions to ensure project success.

• Mentoring: Assists developers in enhancing their skills and technical understanding as needed.

• Technical Validation: Frequently develops prototypes or conducts code reviews to validate the feasibility and quality of the design.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as a Software Architect in transactional environments, fintech, or digital banking.

• Knowledge of the current technology stack, with a focus on JavaScript, Node.js, NestJS, Next.js, and React.

• Basic or general knowledge of PHP, as it is a technology that is being phased out within the stack.

• Mastery of DevOps practices: CI/CD, infrastructure as code (IaC), GitHub Actions, Terraform, or similar tools.

• Experience in architectural modeling under the C4 model (mandatory).

• Advanced knowledge of microservices, messaging, asynchrony, APIs, observability, and caching.

• Experience in high-availability systems, fault tolerance, and event-driven architectures.

• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly, with leadership skills and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.
