📋 Description

• Take charge of Niche's organic social strategy across both B2C and B2B channels, creating and executing tailored approaches for each platform that enhance our brand and drive business growth.

• Collaborate with the Head of Content to synchronize social efforts with overarching content, branding, and business objectives, ensuring that social media is seamlessly woven into campaigns, product launches, partnership strategies, and significant company events.

• Define and spearhead our ambassador, influencer, and community strategies: selecting appropriate partners, overseeing contracts, budgets, and briefs, and fostering ongoing relationships with key audiences across various platforms.

• Keep an eye on emerging channels, audience behaviors, new platform features, and algorithm modifications to proactively suggest where and how Niche should establish its presence next.

• Lead the ideation and production of content, working independently as well as collaborating with internal teams and external creators to deliver high-quality, on-brand, culturally relevant content designed to engage effectively on each platform.

• Serve as Niche's ears on the ground, proactively sharing insights gathered from communities and conversations, proposing innovative content ideas, and translating trends into actionable insights for broader brand and marketing initiatives.

• Drive the biweekly content planning process across Lifecycle, B2B, and Comms/Content teams, developing SOPs that ensure consistency and scalability in content creation, publishing, testing, and community engagement.

• Identify trends early and conduct structured test-and-learn pilots.

• Manage performance tracking for organic social; adeptly navigating between quantitative data and qualitative insights to highlight what is effective, what is not, and the next steps to take.

• Stay updated on how AI tools and LLM-powered search are transforming brand discovery and how brands like Niche can be found and referenced, as well as the role social media plays in influencing those outcomes.

• Lead experiments with new formats, workflows, and methodologies that utilize AI to enhance speed, quality, and impact.


⛳️ Requirements

• 7–9 years of hands-on experience in social media, preferably in-house for a brand or organization.

• Comprehensive experience managing content calendars, creator relationships, and platform strategies from start to finish.

• Proven capability to make complex, stressful, and ambiguous categories feel relatable, human, and engaging.

• Strong analytical abilities: proficient in interpreting performance data, identifying key insights, making evidence-based recommendations, and understanding the synergy between paid and organic efforts.

• Excellent copywriting skills, a keen ear for brand voice and audience nuances, and the editorial acumen to distinguish between what is trending and what is worthwhile.

• Comfortable producing content independently, guiding others through briefs and feedback, and appearing on camera or directing creators.

• Clear communicator capable of articulating the rationale behind decisions to teammates and stakeholders.

• Experience representing a brand at industry events, generating onsite content, and a willingness to travel occasionally (around 2–3 times per year).

• Bonus: background in education or experience working with students, families, or academic communities.
