Senior Social Media Editor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee daily operations of theScore and theScore Bet social media accounts on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, and YouTube.

• Develop and refine social media posts while ensuring adherence to the appropriate style, tone, and editorial standards.

• Discover and highlight relevant third-party content suitable for various channels.

• Utilize data analytics to guide content strategies and enhance engagement and channel growth.

• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to design and implement promotions and campaigns.

• Be available for regular night and weekend shifts as required.

• Execute additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in digital media, ideally within the sports sector.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in social media management.

• Excellent writing and editing capabilities.

• A passionate and knowledgeable sports enthusiast with insights across various leagues, teams, and players.

• Strong grasp of what constitutes engaging social content.

• Familiarity with social media publishing and analytics tools.

• Quick to learn new applications and technologies.

• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.

• Intermediate skills or higher in Photoshop and other visual editing tools.

• Functional knowledge of sports betting; strong knowledge is preferred.

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
