This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Lead the concept and creative development focused on social media for CodeAI.
• Create unique social concepts that articulate CodeAI’s mission, campaigns, and key moments into platform-specific ideas.
• Establish and refine CodeAI’s creative perspective across various platforms.
• Oversee the scripting, shooting, designing, editing, captioning, and publishing of social media content from start to finish.
• Capture real-time content at conferences, keynotes, livestreams, and other high-profile events.
• Develop authentic, narrative-driven content showcasing teachers, students, and partners.
• Stay updated on trends, formats, sounds, and platform changes to produce timely content.
• Conduct creative experiments and leverage performance data to enhance future content.
• Manage daily interactions across social media channels and escalate issues as necessary.
• Cultivate and support communities of educators, students, parents, donors, and advocates.
• Assess audience sentiment to guide content and messaging strategies.
• Identify, evaluate, and establish connections with relevant influencers, creators, educators, and students.
• Compose creative briefs and oversee creator partnership deliverables, timelines, reviews, and publishing schedules.
• Monitor partnership reach, engagement, and conversion metrics.
• Collaborate with creative, marketing, PR, and paid media teams on campaigns, launches, advertising, content schedules, and strategic planning.
• Analyze content performance with the Marketing Analyst and implement insights for improvement.
• 8–10 years of experience in content creation for brand or organizational social media channels.
• A portfolio showcasing social-first work that reflects strong graphic design and short-form video capabilities.
• Proficient in creative tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar software.
• Knowledgeable in social media publishing and analytics tools.
• Proven ability to identify trends, understand platform culture, and create high-performing content.
• Excellent writing skills with the capacity to maintain brand voice across different platforms.
• Strong collaborative skills to work with internal teams while managing multiple projects on a dynamic schedule.
• A background or experience in AI, computer science, or a related technical field.
• Preferred experience in covering live events, collaborating with creators or influencers, or producing content for education, nonprofit, or youth audiences.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
• Ability to work within the continental United States.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% for team events, conferences, and on-site content capture.
