Senior Snowflake Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design, maintain, and improve ETL processes on the Snowflake platform

• Modify and enhance existing data models and warehouse architectures

• Monitor, evaluate, and enhance data quality throughout the platform

• Manage Snowflake environments, including roles, warehouses, and access permissions

• Investigate, diagnose, and resolve issues related to data pipelines and warehouse solutions

• Optimize Snowflake workloads for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness

• Work collaboratively with data engineering teams and stakeholders to provide reliable data solutions

• Promote operational excellence and ongoing improvement initiatives within the data platform ecosystem

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Data Engineering

• Extensive hands-on experience with Snowflake in AWS environments

• Proficient in advanced SQL

• Strong programming skills in Python

• Demonstrated experience in developing, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

• Experience with performance tuning and cost optimization techniques

• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and data modeling practices

• Capability to work efficiently in production support and enhancement tasks

• Experience with Azure services like Databricks, Synapse, or Fabric (preferred)

• Knowledge of Apache Spark (preferred)

• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools (preferred)

• Understanding of data governance and data quality frameworks (preferred)

• Proficient in utilizing AI tools in daily workflows (preferred)
