Senior Slot Game Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the development of innovative mathematical models, engaging game themes, and unique slot mechanics.

• Conceptualize and manage slot game ideas from initial concept to final launch, emphasizing entertainment value, pacing, volatility, RTP structure, and sustained player engagement.

• Create and validate all mathematical computations and simulations to guarantee regulatory compliance and optimal performance.

• Collaborate intimately with mathematicians to enhance mechanics and balance risk-reward profiles.

• Engage cross-functionally with producers, animators, sound designers, engineers, and product teams to ensure cohesive execution.

• Analyze creative briefs and align game concepts with the overarching product strategy and market positioning.

• Leverage player data and analytics to guide design choices and optimize mechanics both before and after launch.

• Develop comprehensive Game Design Documents (GDDs) and pitch materials that effectively convey gameplay mechanics, feature flow, and player experience objectives.

• Conduct playtesting and iterate on games in development, delivering structured feedback on mathematics, user interface, pacing, art, and sound integration.

• Assist external partners by providing clear explanations of game mechanics and value propositions to enhance commercial success.

• Evaluate post-launch performance metrics and apply insights to inform future releases.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Game Design, or equivalent professional experience.

• 4–5+ years of demonstrated experience in slot game design with successfully released titles.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel for modeling, simulations, and probability calculations.

• Extensive knowledge of Combinatorics, Probability Theory, and Statistics.

• Proven ability to translate player insights and performance data into enhanced design decisions.

• Strong comprehension of pacing, visual choreography, and entertainment flow within slot gameplay.

• Experience with visual design or storyboarding tools to effectively convey concepts.

• Exceptional communication skills and a capacity to collaborate across functions.
