This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Collaborate with teams to establish Service Level Indicators (SLIs) and Service Level Objectives (SLOs).
• Develop systems to enhance observability.
• Evaluate failure scenarios and identify potential mitigations.
• Produce runbooks to address or avert failure situations.
• Minimize non-value-adding tasks.
• Engage in and lead incident management efforts, including on-call responsibilities.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering, DevOps engineering, QA engineering, and/or cloud engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience specifically as a Site Reliability Engineer.
• Assertive personality with strong communication skills.
• Proven experience in incident management within a production setting.
• Proficiency in programming and scripting.
• Basic understanding of serverless technologies across one or more public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Comprehensive knowledge and experience with various monitoring systems.
• Familiarity with different pipelining tools.
• Experience with microservices technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong conceptual grasp of software architecture and systems thinking.
• Experience working in a DevOps environment.
• Excellent command of English (C1 level or higher).
• Familiarity with tools like Datadog (or equivalent APM), Argo CI/CD, Java/Springboot, Kafka, Kubernetes/EKS, and AWS.
• Experience in the context of publicly accessible, highly available eCommerce platforms.
• Proven track record of working in international settings with both onshore and offshore teams.
