Senior Site Development Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Acts as a senior-level educational partner aiding oncology research sites throughout the network.

• Provides targeted, timely education tailored to the specific needs, performance trends, and emerging gaps of each site.

• Aids in the onboarding process through additional educational support, while site-specific onboarding/orientation remains the site's responsibility.

• Works closely with SCRI Quality and Training & Education teams to synchronize content, priorities, and delivery methods.

• Boosts site capabilities in critical areas such as protocol execution, GCP compliance, and operational efficiency.

• Oversees a flexible portfolio of sites according to their complexity and educational requirements.

• Evaluates site-specific educational needs by analyzing performance data, audit trends, and feedback from leadership.

• Designs and conducts targeted educational sessions (both virtual and on-site) to fill identified gaps.

• Offers immediate educational support in response to evolving site needs, regulatory changes, or challenges specific to studies.

• Reinforces essential concepts such as ICH GCP, adherence to protocols, documentation standards, and patient safety.

• Owns and continuously updates the SCRI CRC Core Curriculum, ensuring alignment with foundational and advanced training, regulatory expectations, quality insights, and site performance needs across the network.

• Collaborates with Research Site Partnership leaders and the Quality team to pinpoint performance gaps that necessitate educational intervention.

• Converts KPI trends into actionable education strategies.

• Assists sites in implementing enhancements through education, coaching, and follow-up support.

• Assesses the effectiveness of education based on site feedback and performance improvement metrics.

• Teams up with the SCRI Quality team to align educational efforts with audit findings, CAPAs, and risk mitigation strategies.

• Works alongside the Training & Education team to ensure consistency with the overall enterprise curriculum and prevent duplication.

• Contributes to the creation or refinement of standardized training materials in response to recurring site needs.

• Acts as a liaison between the enterprise education strategy and on-the-ground site execution.

• Provides foundational and advanced training on topics as needed (e.g., informed consent, AE/SAE reporting, source documentation).

• Serves as a subject matter expert for intricate research operations topics.

• Offers guidance during complex study start-up or execution phases when additional educational support is necessary.


⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree; a master’s degree is preferred.

• Experience in oncology clinical research.

• Background in training, education delivery, or quality/audit support.

• Experience in a matrixed organizational environment.

• Familiarity with ICH GCP, FDA regulations, and compliance requirements.

• Knowledge of clinical trial operations throughout the site lifecycle.

• Understanding of adult learning principles and education delivery techniques.

• Insight into quality and audit processes in research.
