Senior SI/PI Engineer – AI and Compute Server Design

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Conduct SI/PI simulations to assess and enhance the performance of high-speed interconnects and system-level operations in server platforms.

• Collaborate with teams in Electrical Engineering, PCB Layout, Cable, and Electrical Analysis.

• Establish design guidelines and evaluate routing strategies.

• Troubleshoot high-speed signal challenges across PCB, cable, and system architectures.

• Utilize industry-standard tools and methodologies for material selection, trace length optimization, debugging, and measurement validation.

• Ensure the design quality is robust and meets platform compliance requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in performing SI/PI simulations for high-speed interconnects and system-level performance within server environments.

• Familiarity with Intel/AMD platform tools, including ICAT, Seasim, and S2eye.

• Understanding of material selection and trace length optimization techniques.

• Experience in debugging and validating measurement results.

• Capability to define design guidelines and assess routing strategies.

• Proficiency in resolving high-speed signal issues across PCB, cable, and system architectures.

• Strong collaboration skills with Electrical Engineering, PCB Layout, Cable, and Electrical Analysis teams.
