Senior Shopify Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Oversee up to 7 simultaneous Shopify and eCommerce projects, which include:

• - Building Shopify platforms

• - Implementing CRO strategies

• - Managing SEO retainers

• - Providing ongoing support services

• Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, documentation, and quality of delivery

• Oversee Asana boards, project timelines, risk management logs, and change requests

• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration among development, design, SEO, and email teams

• Ensure projects remain within defined scopes and meet performance expectations

• Act as the main contact for assigned clients

• Deliver proactive communication and updates through Loom, email, and meetings

• Lead regular review calls and roadmap strategy sessions

• Foster long-lasting client relationships built on trust, transparency, and growth

• Identify opportunities for upselling and retainer services when applicable

• Organize weekly delivery meetings and project evaluations

• Distribute tasks among designers and developers

• Conduct quality assurance reviews and uphold agency standards

• Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on processes

• Appropriately escalate risks or blockers to leadership

• Assist in enhancing SOPs, workflows, and internal documentation

• Offer suggestions for improving operational efficiency and optimizing processes

• Participate in retrospective reviews and initiatives for continuous improvement

• Maintain orderly project records and reporting frameworks

• Review project modifications and support budget management efforts

• Ensure projects align with business objectives and profitability goals

• Provide assistance with quoting, scoping, and proposal drafting as necessary

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in:

• - Project Management

• - Account Management

• - Digital Agency Operations

• - Shopify or eCommerce environments

• Strong comprehension of Shopify ecosystems and website delivery processes

• Proven experience managing multiple client projects at once

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities

• Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana

• Superior organizational and prioritization skills

• Capability to work independently in a fully remote setting

• Preferred Qualifications

• Experience collaborating with CRO, SEO, and email marketing teams

• Understanding of Shopify design and development workflows

• Experience managing remote or international teams

• Knowledge of agile delivery methodologies

• Strong focus on quality assurance and process management
