Senior Shopify Developer – E-commerce Agency

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Create and sustain bespoke Shopify themes utilizing Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and contemporary front-end frameworks.

• Develop sophisticated Shopify functionalities and tailored storefront experiences.

• Manage intricate Shopify projects from the initial requirements gathering to final deployment.

• Enhance Shopify stores for optimal performance, scalability, and conversion rates.

• Design high-converting landing pages for paid media campaigns.

• Apply theme improvements and updates focused on conversion rates for the storefront.

• Carry out technical implementations for initiatives aimed at optimizing conversion rates.

• Establish, oversee, and deploy A/B tests utilizing Intelligems.

• Work collaboratively with internal teams to apply testing strategies.

• Ensure precise implementation and tracking of experiments.

• Design, construct, and maintain integrations with third-party apps and services.

• Develop and maintain subscription platform integrations such as Skio and ReCharge.

• Diagnose and enhance API performance and reliability.

• Collaborate with Shopify APIs and external systems to streamline business operations.

• Partner with the Tech Lead on technical architecture and implementation strategies.

• Guide junior developers and offer technical support.

• Utilize AI-driven tools to enhance development efficiency and problem-solving capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in web development with substantial expertise in Shopify.

• In-depth understanding of Shopify architecture and Liquid templating language.

• Strong command of JavaScript and modern front-end frameworks.

• Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive development practices.

• Experience in implementing and managing A/B testing programs.

• Extensive experience with Shopify APIs and custom API integrations.

• Expert-level proficiency in GitHub, including:

• Best practices for version control

• Pull requests

• Branching strategies

• Code reviews

• Collaborative development workflows

• Experience in troubleshooting and optimizing the performance of Shopify storefronts.
