This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• Install, upgrade, patch, configure, administer, document, and support all SharePoint environments along with related services and applications;
• Ensure the security of SharePoint environments in compliance with Security policies;
• Monitor usage logs and assess farm/service health and performance, addressing any associated issues and implementing improvements;
• Optimize SharePoint content for indexing and searching; diagnose and resolve SharePoint-related errors/issues promptly;
• Oversee backup and restore/recovery, manage quotas, service accounts’ expiry, custom apps client secret expiry, and SSL certificate activation/renewal;
• Implement application-related changes in Test, UAT, and Production environments while adhering to Change Management policies;
• Facilitate testing, defect resolution, and user acceptance of customized apps, flows, and scripts developed by the SP Admin Team;
• Utilize an enterprise issue tracking system to monitor issues and requests;
• Oversee and manage enterprise-wide applications hosted within SharePoint;
• Provide technical assistance to SharePoint developers, support teams, and users;
• Collaborate with other ICT groups for operational support (e.g., SAP integration, ADFS, Azure, NLB, etc.);
• Coordinate with vendors (e.g., Microsoft; Gimmal) regarding defects, enhancements, errors, and resolutions;
• Prepare and validate Business Continuity Plans and Disaster Recovery procedures.
• A university degree combined with relevant IT professional experience spanning 8 years;
• At least Five (5) years of hands-on professional experience in large enterprise-level implementations supporting SharePoint governance, administration, including installation/upgrade/migration, security, management, monitoring, and system development;
• A minimum of Five (5) years developing PowerShell scripts to facilitate operations and maintenance, along with familiarity with the software development lifecycle process for Change Requests and deployments;
• At least three years of practical experience with PowerShell, Microsoft Azure DevOps/Visual Studio Online, SQL databases, and related components (SSAS, SSIS, and SSRS);
• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience managing electronic database-driven records, archive management, content management, or document management systems;
• Experience with application release deployment (deploying changes to Test, UAT, and Production);
• In-depth working experience with Windows Server technologies, including Windows Server 2012/2016, IIS, and virtualization;
• Familiarity with SharePoint 2013/2016/Online;
• Practical experience in other web-based technologies (HTML, XML, .NET) is considered an asset;
• Excellent command of the English language.
