Server Migration Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Assist in large-scale migration projects that involve transferring enterprise applications and infrastructure from on-premises data centers to cloud platforms.

• Take a pivotal role in workload migrations, provide support for cloud operations, automate processes, and manage hybrid infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced expertise in managing Windows Server environments (2003, 2008, 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022, 2025).

• Proven experience in supporting enterprise cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, and OCI.

• Familiarity with Azure Arc, Azure Migrate, Azure Monitor, EC2, VPC, Route 53, CloudWatch, OCI Compute, VCN, Monitoring, Logging, and Active Directory.

• In-depth knowledge of cloud networking, load balancing, DNS, VPNs, ExpressRoute, AWS Direct Connect, and OCI FastConnect.

• Proficient in PowerShell scripting, automation, and CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitHub Actions.

• Experience in implementing high-availability and disaster recovery solutions, including Windows Failover Clustering, SQL FCIs, Availability Groups, and cloud-based backup and recovery services.

• Strong grasp of logical network and firewall principles.

• Extensive experience in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, CloudFormation, OCI Resource Manager, and Ansible.

• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation abilities in complex hybrid-cloud settings.
