This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, fostering trust and long-term relationships through consistent and credible communication.
• Engage in in-depth technical discussions with clients throughout the Inquiry to Order (ITO) process, establishing credibility from the very first interaction.
• Anticipate customer needs and create solutions that align with business objectives.
• Create detailed, customer-specific scopes of work customized to equipment types and service requirements.
• Develop comprehensive project schedules that are man-loaded and based on well-defined scopes.
• Generate precise job cost estimates that are based on thorough scheduling and resource planning.
• Oversee complete outage planning, including the development of contingencies for scope changes and unexpected field issues.
• Collaborate closely with members of the Local Customer Team (LCT) across various functions to ensure smooth project execution.
• Utilize a profound understanding of EHS and quality risks related to each scope of work.
• Actively engage in Daily Management meetings and team discussions to share best practices and promote process improvements.
• Foster a strong team culture through peer collaboration, knowledge sharing, and a receptiveness to feedback.
• A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college in Engineering.
• A background as a Mechanical Technical Field Advisor (TFA) or Outage Manager is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Steam Power equipment, systems, and outage work scopes.
• Knowledge of GE Vernova tools, applications, and processes used for quoting, planning, executing, and closing out projects.
• Proven ability to develop scopes of work, man-loaded schedules, and accurate job cost estimates.
• Strong comprehension of EHS standards and quality requirements in field service settings.
