Senior ServiceNow Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create tailored workflows using contemporary web technologies.

• Configure standard workflows and develop/maintain custom workflows.

• Integrate ServiceNow applications with third-party partners.

• Quickly prototype innovative solutions.

• Design and build solutions that utilize ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, Discovery, CMDB, Knowledge, and ITOM, employing both configuration and custom JavaScript.

• Diagnose and resolve issues.

• Orchestrate and automate various tasks.

• Accountable for the design and construction of ServiceNow Applications and their integration with other applications and platforms, encompassing architecture, languages, best practices, and methodologies within an Agile Scrum framework.

• Collaborate on ongoing projects involving both new developments and enhancements with engineers, developers, analysts, and other team members.

• Adhere to, maintain, and implement documentation best practice policies, procedures, and processes throughout ServiceNow development.

• Work closely with business and IT teams to gather insights to support the continuous business needs for ServiceNow configuration, implementation, and support.

• Review and incorporate any additional UI/UX requirements from both external and internal teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with 8 – 12 years of relevant experience or a Master’s Degree with 6 – 10 years of related experience.

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in the design, development, and support of technology infrastructure.

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer.

• At least 4 years of ServiceNow development experience.

• Experience with ServiceNow upgrades.

• Proficiency in JavaScript/GLIDE, HTML5.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Experience connecting ServiceNow with external systems using SOAP or REST web services.

• ITIL v3 Foundations Certification is advantageous.

• Familiarity with AngularJS, Bootstrap, jQuery.

• Ability to be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and juggle multiple projects and clients in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

• Experience or knowledge of Agile development and testing methodologies.
