Senior Service Specialist, Diesel Engines

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Deliver direct technical assistance to our dealers and other clients through our technical call center, email, product support requests, and various other channels.

• Assist our dealers and OEM partners in a way that sustains and enhances our service level as a competitive edge against other engine brands.

• Evaluate warranty claims from dealers, distributors, and OEMs to ensure compliance with our warranty policy guidelines and approve, adjust, or deny as necessary.

• Detect potential problem trends from field reports, coordinate the return of sample parts, and file Field Complaints as needed to initiate corrective actions.

• Offer consulting services to the Technical Publications team and Training Department for the creation of service manuals, bulletins, kit instructions, training materials, etc.

• Travel to dealers to investigate and resolve field issues or contested warranty claims.

• Make occasional visits to dealers and OEM partners to foster a technical relationship and support their business development.

• Participate in annual dealer open houses to assist dealers and their customers.

• Attend trade shows as required to represent and advocate for diesel service at these events.

⛳️ Requirements

• Three to five years of experience in troubleshooting and repairing common rail diesel engines.

• Experience with small spark-ignited engines is a plus.

• Strong customer service skills are essential, along with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.

• An associate's degree in an engine or mechanical/electrical field is preferred.

• Candidates must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
