This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more states.
• Establish new business connections with end-user clients while formulating a business case to leverage Carrier Commercial Service and Aftermarket for their facility services and replacement projects.
• Engage with end-user decision-makers, including C-Level executives, VPs of Operations, and Directors of Facilities, as well as Engineering professionals.
• Responsible for nurturing and expanding relationships within assigned existing client accounts while also developing new customer connections.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to customers across their enterprises within the Healthcare sector.
• Prepare and negotiate intricate sales contracts with a diverse range of accounts.
• Collaborate with field sales and service team members, as well as operations, branch, and regional leadership as necessary.
• Maintain effective interactions with Field Management to support their business growth objectives.
• Work directly with building owners to enhance system reliability, reduce energy consumption, and improve the indoor environment.
• Support and coordinate with the owners' Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) partner, leveraging these relationships.
• Develop and implement strategic sales initiatives to position Carrier as the preferred supplier and secure targeted partnerships in a competitive landscape.
• Manage existing Carrier Healthcare account relationships to optimize service and aftermarket sales.
• Conduct thorough needs assessments, develop and coordinate sales proposals and estimates, and deliver presentations.
• Collaborate with operations, finance, legal, and various internal and external resources as needed to facilitate sales and negotiate satisfactory contracts.
• Prepare detailed and accurate sales activity reports, forecast reports, Salesforce updates, and track expenses.
• Engage in civic and professional organizations to build a network of contacts to help achieve sales targets.
• Collaborate with solutions partners to bundle services and expand Carrier's involvement in opportunities.
• Participate in activities such as bids, trade shows, and customer relationship management.
• Represent the company’s broader interests and cultivate business relationships to enhance sales business development performance in alignment with the company’s mission, purpose, and strategy.
• Collect and analyze market data to engage current and prospective customers.
• Support existing customer relationships and travel as necessary (estimated 45-50% travel).
• Operate independently with minimal oversight from management.
• Mentor and review the work of field-level professionals.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Over 5 years of experience in HVAC Service Sales and/or Healthcare System Solution Sales.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to travel up to 25% domestically.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field (preferred).
• Advanced knowledge of the Healthcare markets (preferred).
• Understanding of GPOs (Group Purchasing Organizations) and their interaction with healthcare systems (IDNs) (preferred).
• Requires a high level of technical and financial expertise to effectively and independently assist field offices in selling Carrier Commercial equipment and service (preferred).
• Related professional certifications are preferred (preferred).
• Requires a strong level of technical and sales expertise to effectively and independently support field offices in selling Carrier Commercial equipment and service (preferred).
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with both external customers and internal teams across sales, engineering, manufacturing, and marketing.
• Strong sense of urgency, self-initiative, dedication, and ownership.
• Exceptional follow-up and follow-through skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
