This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Set up intricate claims payments within the system.
• Accurately and thoroughly document claims.
• Update and manage payment tracking systems with essential dates and outcomes.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure financial accuracy and stability for claimants.
• Communicate via email and phone with employers, claims specialists, and claimants to gather financial data and additional information.
• Collect and review information from claim case managers, claimants, vendors, and customer contacts.
• Operate independently under established procedures and guidelines while meeting service-level agreements and performance guarantees.
• Make both routine and non-routine decisions within set procedures and guidelines.
• Apply knowledge of the expanding role to increasingly complex cases.
• Create follow-up tasks for claims examiners that require payment adjustments or oversight.
• Identify and take action on claims with potential benefit offsets based on other income sources.
• Comply with Sarbanes-Oxley financial controls, corporate compliance, and GAAP.
• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 2–3 years of progressive experience in a financial services setting, such as payroll services, directly related to the responsibilities of this role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and maintain a sharp focus on detail.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment and adapt as necessary.
• High comfort level working with Excel documents and mathematical concepts, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, averages, and variances.
• Comfortable articulating and modifying provisions and working with contract language.
