This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

• Design and implement extensive SEO strategies to enhance organic visibility and increase traffic.

• Execute in-depth keyword research that aligns with business objectives and user search intent.

• Oversee on-page and technical SEO enhancements (site architecture, indexing, Core Web Vitals, etc.).

• Conduct thorough SEO audits and apply actionable recommendations for improvement.

• Work in collaboration with content teams to develop high-ranking, SEO-optimized content.

• Manage backlink strategies and campaigns focused on building authority.

• Track performance metrics using tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, or SEMrush.

• Analyze competitors to uncover growth opportunities within SERPs.

• Keep abreast of algorithm updates and industry developments.

• Provide regular reports and insights to relevant stakeholders.

• Over 4 years of experience in SEO, ideally within SaaS, eCommerce, or digital agencies.

• Demonstrated success in enhancing rankings, increasing organic traffic, and boosting conversions.

• Strong expertise in technical SEO (site audits, schema markup, crawling/indexing).

• Proficient in SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console).

• Solid grasp of HTML, CSS, and website architecture.

• Experience with various CMS platforms (WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, etc.).

• Data-oriented mindset complemented by strong analytical abilities.

• Exceptional communication and teamwork skills.

• Prior experience in managing or mentoring junior SEO team members is a bonus.
