Senior Security Solutions Engineer – DACH

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Deliver pre-sales technical support and expertise to our customers and partners with the goal of meeting sales objectives.

• Develop a trusted advisory relationship with strategic customers and partners (CIO, CISO).

• Update and enable the partner network regarding product advancements.

• Conduct workshops with prospects or customers focused on product evaluations and demonstrations.

• Execute hands-on tests to confirm customer proof-of-concept setups, network designs, and deployments using new products and features.

• Respond to Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Proposal (RFP).

• Provide market and product insights to product management and the back-office team.

• Stay informed about competitive solutions, products, and services.

• Create whitepapers, knowledge base articles, and other content aimed at customers and partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience managing accounts within the Defence sector.

• Candidates with an active or previously held security clearance are preferred.

• Experience in planning, designing, or operating WAN/LAN networks for service providers or large enterprises.

• Knowledge of Cloud security solutions, including FWaaS, DLP, CASB, RBI, and Malware prevention technologies.

• Familiarity with security technologies such as proxies, SSL/TLS, VPNs, Active Directory/SAML/LDAP, as well as threat prevention and mitigation strategies.

• Understanding of networking and security architectures within the SASE framework.

• Comprehensive knowledge of the TCP/IP protocol stack and its operations.

• Familiarity with WAN technologies and protocols, including MPLS, MPLS-based VPNs, BGP, OSPF, QoS, NAT, and Multicast.

• Experience in architecting and/or managing large-scale, high-performance, and resilient Enterprise networking and security solutions.

• Proficiency in Linux administration.

• Knowledge of best practices for SaaS application architectures.

• Hands-on experience with public and private cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, OpenStack, and VMware.

• Knowledge of shell scripting and Python scripting.
