Senior Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hawaii.

📋 Description

• Oversee security events and logs from diverse systems and networks using Datadog

• Detect potential security incidents and threats

• Conduct analysis and investigations, correlating events and data to identify security incidents

• Create, document, and enhance processes and procedures for addressing security incidents

• Offer technical guidance, training, and support to fellow members of the security team

• Keep current with security threats, vulnerabilities, and countermeasures

• Collaborate independently with customers on implementations and remote services

• Resolve basic configuration/script issues

• Participate in requirements review and validation sessions as necessary

• Employ strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ensure timely and task-oriented execution of assigned customer responsibilities

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Cyber Security or a related field

• Experience with SIEM tools such as Splunk, SumoLogic, Datadog, or similar

• Background in security monitoring, incident response, and threat analysis

• Familiarity with Cloud Native Technologies

• Outstanding problem-solving and analytical abilities

• Understanding of security best practices and standards

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Experience or willingness to manage multiple projects concurrently

• Self-motivated learner eager to grasp new technologies
