This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.
• Accountable for the identification and investigation of all security incidents across the TaskUs global network, endpoints, and cloud platforms.
• Ensure timely detection, escalation, and mitigation of all security threats.
• Monitor, analyze, and document any security alerts, alarms, and incidents.
• Adhere to established procedures for incident identification, investigation, and escalation.
• Collect pertinent information about incidents; categorize and prioritize them accordingly.
• Review alerts that have been escalated by end users or IT teams.
• Provide limited incident response for low-complexity security incidents.
• Assist in maintaining the performance metrics of the SOC team (SLAs and KPIs).
• Contribute to enhancing the efficiency of SOC processes.
• Must demonstrate enthusiasm and a keen interest in Information Security.
• Strict compliance with processes and procedures is essential.
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• General knowledge of network protocols and TCP/IP troubleshooting.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in the Information Technology field.
• Strong attention to detail, with a curious and inquisitive nature.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Previous experience in SOC/NOC or a security-related role is advantageous.
• Proficiency in technical writing is a plus.
