This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.
• Design, build, and implement agentic AI workflows and intelligent autonomous playbooks to automate Tier-1/2 alert triage, enhance context, and manage incident responses.
• Develop and refine intricate detection logic across SIEM, EDR/XDR, and cloud platforms, with an emphasis on behavioral analytics and anomaly detection.
• Use Python to create custom security tools, integrate various security APIs, and uphold high-quality, reusable codebases for security orchestration (SOAR).
• Spearhead threat hunting efforts and act as a Tier-3 escalation point for complex, high-severity security incidents.
• Examine attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) to align coverage with the MITRE ATT&CK framework and proactively address vulnerabilities.
• Secure cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP), particularly focusing on auditing, monitoring, and safeguarding production AI/LLM pipelines and workloads.
• Guide junior team members, perform code reviews for automation scripts, and advocate for strong software engineering best practices within the security team.
• Over 7 years of cybersecurity experience with a specialization in security or detection engineering.
• At least 3 years in a Senior Security Engineer position.
• Profound technical expertise in incident response, threat hunting, and adversary TTPs.
• Proven experience in implementing and managing detection logic across enterprise SIEM, EDR/XDR, or cloud-native security tools.
• Experience in securing and monitoring cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Demonstrated aptitude for constructing functional tools in Python/Powershell, working with REST APIs, and producing clean, structured code (experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines is preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Engineering.
• Practical knowledge of building or implementing LLM-based agents, prompt engineering, and incorporating AI models into automated workflows and custom API integrations.
• Awareness of AI/LLM-specific security vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10 for LLMs, prompt injection, data poisoning, model evasion).
• Familiarity with SIEM, EDR/XDR, SOAR, or identity security platforms.
• Advanced certifications (e.g., CISSP, GIAC GCIA/GCIH, or cloud security certifications).
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or IT Management with a focus on AI/Automation.
