Senior Security Engineer – Cyber Resiliency

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Become part of a team composed of highly skilled and principled individuals.

• Create, implement, and enhance innovative technical measures to identify and mitigate security threats.

• Develop custom detection frameworks, incorporate threat intelligence, automate processes with SOAR, and design Agentic AI security operations playbooks.

• Participate in or lead incident response initiatives, including conducting tabletop exercises.

• Work collaboratively with various teams to embed security best practices into products and workflows.

• Perform thesis-driven threat hunting across forensic data repositories.

• Engage in ongoing research of the threat landscape and commit to your professional development with guaranteed work hours and a training budget.

• This role involves rotational on-call duties; the workload is manageable and distributed among team members.

• Proven experience in securing cloud-native environments.

• Familiarity with cloud and endpoint security operations.

• Preference for macOS or Linux technologies.

• A strong enthusiasm for AI.

• Knowledgeable in threat intelligence.

• Capability to work autonomously across multiple concurrent projects.

• Expertise in cloud forensics and incident response.

• Proficiency in automation using languages such as Go, Python, or Shell.

• Background in offensive security or open-source software development is a plus.

• At least 5 years of experience in software development, information security, or IT engineering, or a combination of these fields.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Security, or Information Systems is preferred but not mandatory.
