This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Engage in team activities to pinpoint potential security vulnerabilities, such as threat modeling and tabletop exercises.
• Participate in intricate prioritization discussions to determine the most critical risks to address next.
• Develop project plans to tackle prioritized risks and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders throughout the organization to implement these projects.
• Create sustainable programs to achieve operational excellence, focusing on ongoing efforts required to meet our objectives (e.g., vulnerability management).
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design secure software, tackle security issues, and foster a robust security culture.
• Develop, tailor, and operate tools that enhance the maturity of our security program while minimizing disruption to the company’s operations.
• Assist with ongoing bug bounty and penetration testing initiatives.
• Build and sustain a network of security advocates.
• Identify security knowledge deficiencies within the development team and facilitate training to bridge those gaps.
• Contribute to architectural discussions to empower teams to innovate in a secure and repeatable way.
• Proven experience in independently managing areas of responsibility.
• Proficiency in threat modeling, red teaming, penetration testing, or other methods of detecting security vulnerabilities.
• Background in software development and the capability to review code for security issues.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, coupled with a strong sense of developer empathy.
• Highly organized project management abilities.
