This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Design and improve security strategies to safeguard against emerging threats.
• Implement and oversee SIEM, EDR, and cloud security technologies to effectively monitor and respond to incidents.
• Lead or engage in security incident management and response, including SOC operations and DFIR.
• Apply least privilege access principles and secure network architectures.
• Assist in AI governance initiatives by assessing AI security risks, contributing to AI usage policies, and establishing controls for AI tools and integrations utilized across the organization.
• Operate independently while also excelling in a collaborative team setting.
• Apply the defense-in-depth approach to enhance and maintain a secure environment.
• Over 4 years of experience in dedicated information security positions.
• Practical experience with SIEM and EDR solutions.
• Proficiency in security incident response and SOC operations.
• Comprehensive knowledge of least privilege access principles and defense-in-depth strategies.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking and security protocols.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud environments and related security technologies.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical audiences, including executives.
