Security Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with clients to comprehend their business goals, security issues, and risk management focuses.

• Evaluate Microsoft 365, Azure, and cloud security environments, offering actionable recommendations for enhancement.

• Design and deploy Microsoft security solutions across identity, endpoint, threat protection, governance, compliance, and cloud security.

• Configure and maintain Microsoft Entra ID functionalities, including Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR).

• Implement and optimize Microsoft Defender technologies.

• Establish endpoint management and security measures using Microsoft Intune.

• Develop and enhance security monitoring, analytics, alerting, and reporting solutions through Microsoft Sentinel.

• Assist in data protection and compliance efforts by utilizing Microsoft Purview, DLP, and sensitivity labeling features.

• Create automation and operational efficiencies leveraging PowerShell and Microsoft Graph.

• Provide trusted advisory services to clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in cloud security, Azure security, Microsoft 365 security, or similar security consulting positions.

• Practical experience in implementing and supporting Microsoft security technologies.

• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and best practices in identity security.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Defender security solutions and threat protection technologies.

• Understanding of Microsoft Sentinel, Azure Log Analytics, and security monitoring principles.

• Awareness of governance, compliance, data protection, and risk management methodologies.

• Ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences.

• Strong consulting abilities, client-facing experience, and relationship-building skills.

• Demonstrated capability to manage priorities and achieve results in a dynamic consulting environment.
