Senior Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance cybersecurity solutions.

• Integrate and securely set up security controls.

• Monitor, assess, and investigate security controls and incidents.

• Identify, analyze, and address vulnerabilities and security incidents.

• Ensure the security and resilience of systems in on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments.

• Implement and uphold cybersecurity policies, procedures, and controls.

• Create scripts, tools, and automation for security-related tasks.

• Generate technical documentation, risk assessments, and audit reports.

• Collaborate with internal teams, external providers, and public sector organizations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.

• At least 10 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, information security, or secure systems engineering.

• Demonstrated expertise in security standards, frameworks, and compliance requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, NIS/NIS2, GDPR).

• Strong understanding of security technologies and identity protocols: SSL/TLS, X.509, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, JWT.

• Solid grasp of cryptographic principles and algorithms: AES, GCM, PBKDF2, HMAC, SHA-2.

• Advanced knowledge of network security and architecture.

• Proficiency in Linux/Unix systems and secure configuration practices.

• Experience with secure software development lifecycle (SDLC).

• Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of French is a plus.
