This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Oversee ongoing threats, conduct thorough analyses of AI-related attack vectors (such as prompt injection and model poisoning), and spearhead the creation of detailed remediation strategies.
• Continuously monitor, audit, detect, and rectify significant security vulnerabilities within our cloud infrastructure.
• Address security incidents and manage the complete incident response process.
• Deploy advanced automation and AI agents for security operations, including testing detection rules, auditing, gathering metrics, and generating reports to enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design secure, scalable solutions, which involves establishing security guardrails and governance for AI/ML workloads and assessing third-party security tools.
• Act as a recognized authority in various security specialties, maintaining a keen awareness of the external threat landscape.
• Propel the adoption of security measures, technical enhancements, and process improvements throughout the organization.
• A minimum of 4+ years of professional experience in security engineering or a related domain.
• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services (VPC, EC2, S3, EKS) along with associated networking, IAM, and security controls in live environments.
• Strong comprehension of Docker and containerization, including the ability to build, optimize, scan, and secure container images and workflows.
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes architecture and experience in operating or securing platforms like EKS in production settings.
• Expertise in using Terraform for the provisioning and management of cloud infrastructure in a repeatable and scalable manner.
• Proficient in at least one scripting or programming language, preferably Python, to facilitate security tooling and automation.
• Fundamental knowledge of general networking principles, including TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, and load balancing across cloud and containerized systems.
• In-depth expertise in Threat/Intrusion Detection, Vulnerability Management, and specialized knowledge in securing AI agents, LLMs, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) environments.
• MS or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 6 months of experience utilizing AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT, or similar tools) as part of your software development process.
• Familiarity with compliance standards such as ISO 27001, SOC2, NIST, SOX, and PCI is advantageous.
• Experience with IAM tools (Okta, OneLogin), Zero Trust frameworks, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions is a plus.
• Background in access control and PII management is an asset.
• Previous experience in the financial services sector is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) technologies is beneficial.
