Senior SDET – GovTech Industry

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Peru.

📋 Description

• Create and uphold automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing procedures.

• Enhance test coverage and pinpoint quality risks in existing applications.

• Utilize AI tools (such as Claude and Copilot) to expedite the development and upkeep of tests.

• Diagnose and resolve test failures across application, infrastructure, and data tiers.

• Minimize flaky tests and bolster the reliability of the CI/CD pipeline.

• Partner with engineering teams to improve testability and confidence in production systems.

• Set up scalable testing standards, tools, and best practices across various products.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient programming skills in C#.

• Experience in developing and maintaining automated unit and integration tests.

• Knowledge of testing frameworks such as xUnit, JUnit, Jest, and Playwright.

• Strong grasp of testing principles, including unit testing, integration testing, mocking, and test isolation.

• Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to work effectively within large and complex codebases.

• Experience in Shift Left and quality-driven engineering settings.

• Strong English communication skills along with a collaborative mindset.

• Interest in leveraging AI tools (e.g., Claude, Copilot) for test generation, refactoring, and coverage analysis.

• Basic understanding of LLMs or a strong desire to learn.
