Senior SDET – GovTech Industry

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Create and sustain automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing procedures.

• Enhance test coverage while pinpointing quality risks in current applications.

• Utilize AI tools (such as Claude and Copilot) to expedite the development and upkeep of tests.

• Diagnose and resolve test failures across the application, infrastructure, and data levels.

• Minimize flaky tests and boost the reliability of the CI/CD pipeline.

• Work collaboratively with engineering teams to improve testability and instill confidence in production systems.

• Set up scalable testing standards, tools, and best practices across various products.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient programming skills in C#, TypeScript, JavaScript, or Java.

• Experience in developing and maintaining automated unit and integration tests.

• Familiarity with testing frameworks like xUnit, JUnit, Jest, and Playwright.

• Strong grasp of testing principles, including unit testing, integration testing, mocking, and test isolation.

• Exceptional debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Ability to work efficiently within extensive and intricate codebases.

• Experience in Shift Left and quality-centric engineering settings.

• Excellent English communication skills and a collaborative approach.

• Enthusiasm for using AI tools (e.g., Claude, Copilot) for test generation, refactoring, and coverage analysis.

• Basic knowledge of LLMs or a strong eagerness to learn.
