Senior SDET Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Execute test cases and conduct manual testing to uncover bugs and ensure the software aligns with specified requirements.

• Develop and sustain automated test scripts to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.

• Report and track defects using dedicated tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, etc., while collaborating with the development team to address issues.

• Assist in the creation and upkeep of test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on both functional and non-functional requirements.

• Work closely with developers and product managers to comprehend the application's functionality and design effective testing strategies.

• Document test outcomes and provide comprehensive feedback to the development team to aid in issue resolution and software enhancements.

• Identify opportunities for improvement in the testing process and propose enhancements to boost efficiency and effectiveness.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• 3-5 years of experience in Quality Assurance (QA) or software testing.

• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies.

• Experience with manual testing along with familiarity with test automation tools like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar.

• Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, Appium, or equivalent.

• Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes and tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.

• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner is a plus.
