This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and Execute Testing Strategy: Serve as the quality owner and establish a comprehensive testing strategy for the entire microservice ecosystem.

• Develop Strong Test Automation: Leverage expertise in Playwright, API, and UI testing to create, enhance, and maintain dependable, robust test coverage for microservices.

• Ensure Quality of AI-Generated Code: Create and implement test coverage to verify the functionality generated by AI.

• Promote Quality Culture and Standards: Challenge developers and proactively enhance the team's overall quality culture and testing standards.

• CI/CD Pipeline Assistance: Collaborate with developers to build, enhance, and maintain the CI/CD pipelines.

• Validate Cloud Deployment: Utilize knowledge of AWS environments (Fargate, EKS) to verify cloud deployments.

• Navigate Ambiguity: Effectively work with minimal requirements and translate them into efficient automation frameworks and test plans.

• Performance and Advanced Testing: Apply performance testing expertise to ensure system scalability and reliability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with Playwright, automated API & UI testing.

• Background in Java or TypeScript test automation.

• Experience testing microservices, APIs, gateways, and asynchronous systems.

• Familiarity with CI/CD automation (GitHub Actions).

• Knowledge of AWS environments (Fargate, EKS) and cloud deployment validation.

• Performance testing experience is an advantage.

• Capability to define automation strategy from the ground up.
