This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Oversee software development and test automation, demonstrating proficiency in contemporary software architecture and best practices.

• Provide guidance to junior engineers and uphold high coding standards within the team.

• Collaborate in performance engineering utilizing industry-standard tools to enhance automation systems.

• Participate in CI/CD processes to ensure efficient release cycles.

⛳️ Requirements

• Profound knowledge of modern software architecture, encompassing microservices, containerization (Docker), and cloud-native environments.

• Strong expertise in at least one prominent programming language (e.g., Python, Java, TypeScript, or C#), focusing on producing clean, scalable code.

• In-depth understanding of industry-standard test design patterns and the capability to effectively implement them within existing UI and API frameworks.

• Significant experience with automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Appium, Postman, or RestAssured.

• Robust experience in performance engineering employing tools like k6, JMeter, or Locust to identify system bottlenecks.

• Advanced skills with CI/CD orchestration tools (such as Harness, BitBucket, or Jenkins) to enhance automated release cycles.

• High proficiency with cloud-based testing infrastructures like SauceLabs, BrowserStack, or AWS Device Farm.

• Strong analytical skills, capable of interpreting complex specifications and uncovering edge cases through thorough examination of software behaviors.

• Exceptional technical communication skills, able to convey complex quality risks into actionable engineering tasks.

• Strong sense of technical ownership and willingness to mentor junior engineers to elevate overall team coding standards.

• Typically seven (7) or more years of experience in Software Engineering and Test Automation, with a demonstrated history of significantly enhancing existing automation systems.

• ADVANCED CONVERSATIONAL ENGLISH AND SPANISH REQUIRED (Will be assessed).
