Senior Scientist II – Principal Research Scientist I, Parenteral Process Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Provide technical leadership in the creation and management of parenteral manufacturing processes throughout their lifecycle.

• Collaborate with engineers globally, as well as manufacturing, process development, quality teams, and external partners.

• Assist in development projects with a primary emphasis on process engineering.

• Offer technical and process expertise in the selection and design of process equipment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with typically 12 years of experience; Master’s degree or equivalent with typically 10 years of experience; Doctorate with typically 4 years of experience.

• M.Sc. or Diploma (and 12+ years) or Doctorate (and 6+ years) specializing in parenteral manufacturing, parenteral process development, parenteral process technology, product quality, analytics, materials science, or related disciplines.

• Proven expertise and hands-on experience in Fill & Finish technology.

• Comprehensive understanding of quality and regulatory standards for processing and filling equipment used in parenteral pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical products.

• Practical experience and robust knowledge of parenteral fill-finish processes is advantageous.

• Solid grasp of pharmaceutical development within a cGMP environment.

• Strong leadership capabilities with a talent for cultivating an open, collaborative work environment and enhancing team performance.
