Senior Scientific Associate – Healthcare

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Acting as the medical point of contact for designated accounts

• Creating, composing, and converting intricate scientific information for a diverse audience across various therapeutic areas

• Ensuring the quality and outcomes of projects by showcasing comprehensive technical knowledge of the assigned therapeutic category and/or managed care fields

• Crafting strategic content for a complete spectrum of medical materials (slide presentations, advisory boards, strategy guides, monographs, discussion guides, training resources, etc.)

• Collaborating closely with account teams to enhance content in alignment with strategic objectives

• Conveying medical content to internal teams and pharmaceutical clients as required

• Participating in medical, legal, and regulatory review meetings

• Engaging in internal team discussions, including project initiation meetings, weekly status updates, client meetings, and internal brainstorming/review sessions

• Contributing ideas for new business proposals and tactical planning within assigned accounts

• Guiding and mentoring junior writers

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctorate-level qualification such as PharmDs or PhDs

• 2-4 years of experience in medical communications, healthcare agencies, medical education, or a related field

• Capability to interpret complex scientific concepts for various managed care audiences

• Skill in prioritizing projects, managing competing client demands, and meeting deadlines without compromising quality

• Adaptability to fulfill the requirements of a dynamic work environment

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Willingness to travel occasionally
