Senior SAS Developer, SDTM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Serve as the primary communication point for data management and statistical matters related to database programming and the development of deliverable databases.

• Review and test the requirements and structure of clinical databases (EDC).

• Evaluate data validation plans and program data validation procedures.

• Generate clinical database listings and reports to facilitate the collection, tracking, review, and validation of clinical trial data.

• Program patient profiles.

• Contribute to and support the creation of the Study Data Tabulation Model (SDTM), including define.xml, annotated CRF, and reviewer’s guide, as well as the programming of data transformation from raw data sources into CDISC-compliant deliverables.

• Validate clinical trial data in accordance with SDTM specifications.

• Transfer deliverable databases to clients, including electronic data transfers.

• Act as a liaison with vendors and clients regarding specifications for electronic data transfers.

• Receive and validate electronic data transfers.

⛳️ Requirements

• A college or university degree in IT, programming, or a related technical field.

• Full working proficiency in English.

• Relevant technical experience in the field.

• Prior experience with Clinical Data Management systems, such as Medidata or Veeva, is preferred.

• Knowledge of and experience with the SAS programming language (including Base SAS, SAS/Macros, and SAS/ODS).

• Familiarity with CDISC standards.

• Proficiency in SQL.

• Competent user of standard MS Office applications and MS Access.

• Experience in a professional setting, ideally involving clinical or medical data.
