Senior SAP SD/MM Functional Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and oversee the SAP SD/MM backlog from initial intake through to refinement and delivery.

• Work collaboratively with business stakeholders to analyze requirements and develop functional solutions.

• Convert business needs into precise, development-ready functional specifications and process documentation.

• Assess change requests in relation to the current SAP ECC landscape and the future ERP transformation roadmap.

• Prioritize incoming tasks, balancing new initiatives with operational support and incident resolution.

• Lead backlog refinement and ensure that work items fulfill the team's Definition of Ready.

• Maintain functional documentation and ensure consistency of solutions across the SAP landscape.

• Evaluate solution proposals and development estimates while providing support for delivery governance.

• Collaborate with architects, developers, and the ERP transformation program across various domains including Customer Operations, Supply Chain, Enterprise, Mass Market, and Network Technology.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with SAP ECC SD/MM in highly customized enterprise environments.

• Strong business analysis capabilities, including requirements gathering, business process analysis, and detailed functional specifications.

• Experience in managing or owning product backlogs, prioritization, or demand management.

• Ability to critically assess business requirements and guide stakeholders towards suitable solutions.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Experience working with Agile delivery teams.

• Strong skills in documentation and process modeling.

• Nice to have: Experience with SAP S/4HANA or ERP transformation programs.

• Nice to have: Understanding of ERP migration strategies and transition planning.

• Nice to have: Experience in reviewing development estimates and aiding backlog refinement.

• Nice to have: Familiarity with the telecommunications industry.
