This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• The individual will be tasked with ensuring the stability, evolution, and legal compliance of the Payroll system within the SAP ECC environment, from understanding business needs to technical execution and specialized support.
• Guarantee the stability and performance of the SAP HCM PY (Payroll) module, addressing complex tickets, improvements, and the rollout of new projects or implementations.
• Engage extensively in maintaining and developing calculation rules (PCRs) and sophisticated payroll schemas, aligning the system with collective agreements and the organization's internal policies.
• Ensure compliance with Brazilian labor laws, legal updates, ancillary obligations, and crucially, provide support for eSocial (including maintenance, error correction, and event submissions).
• Convert HR/Payroll needs into comprehensive functional and technical specifications, ensuring the delivery of efficient and scalable solutions.
• Demonstrated experience as an SAP HCM Consultant, with a strong emphasis on the PY submodule (Payroll - Brazil Localization).
• Configuration expertise: In-depth knowledge in parameterizing schemas, calculation rules, averaging processing, handling alimony/child support, vacations, terminations, and 13th salary (thirteenth-month pay).
• HCM ecosystem: Strong integration with the Personnel Administration (PA), Time Management (PT), and Benefits (BN) submodules.
• Corporate experience: Background in large organizations (ideally in the industrial, metallurgical, or steel sectors), experienced in managing high-volume payroll processing and multiple union regulations.
• eSocial knowledge: Hands-on experience with the eSocial framework within SAP, addressing inconsistencies and messaging issues.
