Senior SAP BTP, Integration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Deliver technical expertise in SAP S/4HANA, BTP, and integration throughout implementation, upgrades, migrations, and support projects.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, architects, and development teams to design and implement scalable SAP solutions.

• Act as the technical authority for SAP development, integrations, custom enhancements, data migration, and technical delivery teams.

• Serve as the BTP technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for upgrade project development.

• Establish technical standards, development frameworks, and best practices.

• Convert functional requirements into technical solution designs.

• Ensure the scalability, maintainability, security, and performance of SAP applications.

• Offer technical guidance to developers, consultants, and project teams.

• Oversee development across S/4HANA, ECC, Fiori, BTP, ABAP, and related SAP technologies.

• Design and manage custom developments, enhancements, reports, interfaces, forms, workflows, and conversions.

• Manage SAP and non-SAP integrations utilizing APIs, middleware, IDocs, OData, web services, and cloud integration technologies.

• Conduct code reviews and resolve complex technical challenges.

• Assist with ECC-to-S/4HANA transformation, including custom-code remediation, integration redesign, and technical readiness evaluations.

• Collaborate on data extraction, conversion, validation, and reconciliation efforts.

• Engage in cutover planning, mock conversions, dress rehearsals, and go-live activities.

• Lead technical workstreams from inception through deployment and support.

• Create technical estimates, project plans, and resource requirements.

• Track project progress, risks, issues, dependencies, milestones, and budgets.

• Provide technical status updates to project leadership and stakeholders.

• Mentor and lead SAP technical consultants and developers.

• Facilitate knowledge transfer, training, and skills enhancement.

• Coordinate teams both onsite, offshore, and with vendors.

• Offer technical leadership for production support and AMS engagements.

• Conduct root-cause analysis, issue resolution, optimization, automation, performance tuning, and system stability improvements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• 8–12+ years of SAP technical experience, including at least 2 projects involving upgrades from ECC to S/4HANA.

• 3–6+ years of experience in leading SAP technical teams or workstreams.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering SAP implementation, migration, or transformation projects.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.

• Experience working in global delivery settings with both onsite and offshore teams.

• Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA.

• Familiarity with SAP ECC.

• Knowledge of BTP/ABAP/OO ABAP.

• Experience with Fiori/UI5.

• Understanding of SAP Gateway.

• Competence in CDS Views.

• Proficient in AMDP.

• Experience with OData Services.

• Knowledge of Workflow.

• Familiarity with Enhancement Framework.

• Experience with BAdIs.

• Understanding of User Exits.

• Proficient in SmartForms and Adobe Forms.

• Knowledge of SAP BTP Integration Suite.

• Experience with CPI.

• Understanding of REST APIs and SOAP Web Services.

• Familiarity with IDocs and RFCs.

• Experience with SAP PI/PO and event-driven integrations.

• Knowledge of SAP Migration Cockpit.

• Proficient in SAP Data Services (BODS).

• Experience with data validation and reconciliation.

• Knowledge of data conversion and cutover activities.

• Experience in master and transactional data migration.

• Familiarity with SAP BTP and SAP Build.

• Proficiency in BAS, SAP AI, and automation tools.

• Experience with cloud integrations and extensibility.

• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration processes.

• SAP BTP certification is a plus.

• SAP ABAP Development certification preferred.

• Experience in SAP Fiori and UI5 development.

• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum delivery methodologies.

• Experience supporting presales activities, solution estimates, and proposals.

• Knowledge of PMMO (Project Manufacturing Management & Optimization), including project-level material and cost flow, WIP, project-level inventory visibility, and complex fulfillment scenarios.
