Senior SAP Basis Consultant/Transformation Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems across various landscapes (DEV, QA, PROD)

• Administer SAP environments, including instances, application servers, and profiles

• Manage transports, system copies, client copies, and refreshes

• Monitor system health, performance, and availability

• Analyze dumps and logs (ST22, SM21) to resolve technical issues

• Perform system tuning and optimization

• Design and implement technical solutions for mergers & acquisitions, carve-outs, divestitures, system consolidations, and reorganizations

• Develop data migration strategies, including data extraction and mapping rules, data validation and reconciliation, as well as cutover planning and execution

• Execute transformation projects utilizing SNP tools and methodologies

• Analyze business and technical requirements to create scalable SAP solutions

• Prepare comprehensive technical specifications and architecture designs

• Lead the setup, configuration, testing cycles, and documentation

• Support go-live activities and ensure post-go-live stabilization

• Work with databases such as SAP HANA and other supported platforms

• Coordinate backups, restores, and disaster recovery strategies

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in SAP consulting or SAP Basis

• Strong understanding of SAP architecture and system landscapes

• Practical experience with SAP tools (STMS, RZ10, SM37, ST22, DB02, etc.)

• Experience in data migration and transformation projects

• Knowledge of SAP modules (e.g., SD) and their integration points

• Experience with ABAP development and support

• Familiarity with data volume analysis at both system and table levels

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in teams

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred

• Willingness to travel

• Proficiency in English
