Senior SAP Application Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Configure, monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot the SAP technical environment to ensure peak system performance and reliability.

• Manage and implement the SAP transport system, which includes scheduling, transport migration, and resolving issues.

• Collaborate with technical teams to identify and address SAP transport and source code problems.

• Lead the installation, upgrading, patching, and ongoing maintenance of SAP systems and associated components.

• Assess, design, and maintain interfaces between SAP and external systems to guarantee data integrity and smooth integration.

• Maintain the SAP Data Dictionary, database objects, and related system architecture.

• Supervise the migration of SAP database and application configurations into production settings.

• Analyze, develop, and sustain data architectures and process models within SAP.

• Create and update system documentation, technical procedures, and architectural diagrams.

• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to modernize and enhance the SAP environment, facilitating long-term system development.

⛳️ Requirements

• An active Secret clearance is required.

• A minimum of 6 years of industry or functional experience, including 3–6 years of hands-on SAP expertise.

• Strong problem-solving skills and experience supporting complex SAP environments.

• Capability to lead small projects and mentor junior administrators.
