Senior SAP ABAP Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Act as a Senior SAP ABAP Consultant for SAP initiatives and IT outsourcing projects.

• Design and enhance SAP solutions utilizing both traditional ABAP and contemporary technologies.

• Assess and implement solutions utilizing CDS Views, RAP, OData/APIs, and ADT/Eclipse.

• Implement Clean Core principles and SAP extensibility frameworks.

• Utilize BAdIs, the Enhancement Framework, User Exits, and other extensibility options.

• Conduct ABAP debugging, troubleshooting, and performance evaluations.

• Engage directly with modern, relevant, and challenging projects for consulting clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in traditional ABAP development.

• Expertise in ABAP Objects.

• Experience in developing and enhancing SAP solutions.

• Familiarity with CDS Views.

• Understanding of RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model).

• Knowledge of OData and APIs.

• Proficiency in ADT/Eclipse.

• Familiarity with BAdIs, the Enhancement Framework, User Exits, and SAP extensibility options.

• Knowledge of ABAP debugging, troubleshooting, and performance evaluation.

• Understanding of Clean Core concepts.

• Familiarity with ABAP Cloud and/or SAP BTP ABAP Environment is an advantage.

• Understanding of side-by-side architectures is a plus.

• Knowledge of CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model) is an advantage.

• Familiarity with SAP Integration Suite/CPI is a plus.

• Understanding of SAPUI5/Fiori Freestyle is a benefit.

• Experience with SAP Business Workflow and Flexible Workflow is a plus.

• Background in SAP S/4HANA migration or transformation projects is advantageous.

• Official SAP certifications related to development, S/4HANA, ABAP, or related technologies are a plus.

• A degree in Information Technology or a related discipline is advantageous.

• Official SAP certifications in ABAP, SAP development, SAP S/4HANA, or related fields will be regarded as an asset for this role.
