This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Take charge of test automation strategy and execution within Salesforce environments — including Classic, Lightning, and intricate third-party integrations — by selecting and advancing the appropriate tools and frameworks for our technology stack.
• Create and develop automated test suites utilizing tools such as Playwright, Copado Robot Testing, simple-salesforce, Behave, or similar frameworks, and seamlessly integrate them into our CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions / GitLab CI / ArgoCD).
• Oversee regression, smoke, functional, UAT, integration, and performance testing for Salesforce customizations, which encompass Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and Flow automation.
• Advocate for quality early in the process — collaborate on requirements and design discussions upfront, challenge assumptions, and identify risks before they progress to development.
• Promote testability during code reviews by offering structured feedback on Apex, LWC, and integration code, with a focus on quality and coverage.
• Ensure data integrity across the platform, including Salesforce records, reports, dashboards, Data Cloud pipelines, and inbound/outbound integration payloads.
• Document, triage, and monitor defects comprehensively in Jira, maintaining clear reproduction steps and working collaboratively with developers until resolution.
• Establish and uphold standards for test documentation — including test plans, test cases, automation scripts, coverage matrices, and results reports.
• Mentor and guide junior QA professionals and developers on automation best practices, test design patterns, and a quality-first mindset.
• Stay updated with Salesforce releases (three times a year), assess new features and deprecations for their testing impact, and proactively recommend enhancements.
• Over 5 years of QA/test engineering experience, with a substantial focus on Salesforce platforms in production settings.
• Extensive knowledge of the Salesforce platform — practical experience testing Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Apex triggers and classes, Visualforce pages, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and platform events.
• Robust automation engineering capabilities — you produce clean, maintainable test code.
• Proficiency in Python is required; familiarity with Playwright, Copado Robot Testing, or similar Salesforce-aware frameworks is a significant advantage.
• CI/CD expertise — adept at integrating automated tests into GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or ArgoCD-based pipelines, and refining pipeline configurations.
• Experience in integration testing — skilled in designing and executing tests across REST/SOAP APIs, event-driven architectures (Kafka/Confluent), and data pipelines (Snowflake or equivalent warehouses).
• Proficient in Jira — experienced in defect lifecycle management, sprint hygiene, and operating within structured Agile/Kanban workflows.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to convert ambiguous requirements into precise, actionable test strategies.
• Effective and clear communication skills — able to convey risk, coverage gaps, and quality decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Naturally collaborative — comfortable working alongside development, product, and platform teams, and willing to constructively challenge when quality is at stake.
• Competitive pay and benefits
• Flexible vacation allowance
• A hybrid/remote working environment
• Startup culture supported by a secure, global brand
