This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Ensure the quality and integrity of both automated and manual testing procedures.

• Define and validate testing scenarios, manage risks, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to enhance project outcomes.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies by providing insights on quality based on conducted tests and the current scope.

• Utilize various testing techniques (exploratory, regression, integration, non-functional) with minimal guidance, adjusting the depth of testing based on risk levels.

• Implement automation thoughtfully, focusing on stable and high-value scenarios while actively maintaining existing tests.

• Analyze defects beyond their surface symptoms, identifying root causes and clearly communicating their impacts to Product and Engineering teams.

• Actively engage in Agile ceremonies, highlighting quality issues and suggesting practical improvements.

• Prioritize testing activities according to established goals, deadlines, and risk factors, adjusting focus as priorities evolve.

• Work closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to clarify acceptance criteria and edge cases.

• Serve as a quality reference across multiple teams, ensuring the consistent application of quality practices in complex projects.

• Lead quality planning for significant or cross-team initiatives, integrating quality from the initial design phases.

• Design and refine testing strategies for complex, integrated, and high-risk systems.

• Drive the expansion and maintenance of automated test coverage for critical workflows and shared services.

• Identify overarching quality risks and lead mitigation efforts across teams and products.

• Influence technical and product decisions by advocating for quality, testability, and reliability considerations.

• Define and track quality metrics for complex systems, ensuring visibility into risks and areas for improvement.

• Proficient in automation testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber).

• Strong grasp of software testing methodologies and tools.

• Familiarity with programming languages such as Java or Python.

• Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.

• Knowledge of LLM and RAG.

• Understanding of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).

• Experience in API testing and tools like Postman.
