Senior Salesforce Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, create, and provide support for scalable enterprise solutions utilizing the Salesforce platform.

• Deliver CRM functionalities, integrations, workflow automation, and customer-focused digital experiences.

• Develop and maintain Salesforce capabilities, including system enhancements, new features, integrations, and automation.

• Design, build, conduct unit tests, and deploy secure and scalable out-of-the-box and custom Apex solutions, which encompass triggers, batch jobs, REST services, and Lightning components.

• Write, optimize, and debug SQL queries across standard and custom objects within complex data models.

• Develop and maintain integrations with REST/SOAP APIs and Platform Events.

• Analyze requirements and convert intricate technical specifications into Salesforce solutions.

• Assess whether requirements should be met through configuration or customization.

• Assist end users by providing troubleshooting, training, and best-practice recommendations.

• Maintain proactive communication with stakeholders and partners.

• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to prioritize features and ensure aligned objectives.

• Ensure adherence to security standards while creating scalable, user-friendly solutions.

• Follow coding standards, CI/CD deployment processes, and data integrity protocols.

• Design and oversee complex integrations between Salesforce and third-party systems.

• Offer guidance and conduct code reviews for junior team members.

• Assess new Salesforce features, including Agentforce, to enhance business efficiency.

• Develop guidelines and documentation.

• Provide high-level technical support to ensure successful adoption of system changes and best practices.

• Mentor users and collaborate with project leads to utilize Salesforce capabilities effectively.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related discipline.

• Over 6 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer.

• Strong hands-on expertise in Apex, Flows, SOQL/SOSL, Visualforce, and Salesforce DX (SFDX) development.

• Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Foundational experience in Java for web application development.

• Experience in integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, Workato, Platform Events, and OAuth-based authentication.

• Practical experience with the Salesforce Lightning Platform, including LWC, Aura, and Lightning AppBuilder.

• Familiarity with reusable component architecture and UI optimization.

• Capability to translate complex technical requirements into language that is easily understood by business stakeholders.

• Experience developing within complex Salesforce environments, including business process configuration, security, and reporting.

• Knowledge of automation and an understanding of interactions between people, processes, and systems.

• Excellent organizational abilities and experience working in Agile environments.

• Proficient in working with XML, Java, and Web Service-based integrations.

• Over 4 years of experience in Agile Scrum environments, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release cycles.

• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative setting.
