Senior Salesforce Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create server-side Salesforce code in Apex to connect various operational systems and improve core business logic.

• Design, create, and document APIs for partners and other development teams.

• Lead or engage in technical design sessions; develop technical solution documentation that aligns with business goals.

• Build Salesforce client-side visualizations for a UI-focused product using Angular, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and JavaScript.

• Analyze data to assess the accuracy and efficiency of integrations.

• Convert business requirements into well-structured solutions that maximize the use of the Salesforce platform, products, and integrations.

• Guide small developer teams in executing a technical solution by providing oversight, mentoring, and constructive feedback to ensure successful project outcomes.

• Develop, test, and document custom development, integrations, and data migration aspects of a Salesforce implementation.

• Create and implement test plans to guarantee quality delivery.

• Serve as an advocate for coding standards and participate in code reviews during projects to ensure the use of appropriate design patterns.

• Provide estimates and detailed work breakdown structures for assigned tasks.

• Identify use cases for new products and technical capabilities released by Salesforce; inform stakeholders throughout the organization about new product functionalities.

• Assist in the development and implementation of firm-approved, AI-enabled solutions for clients, adhering to company policies on data protection, intellectual property, and professional standards.

• Keep up-to-date with emerging AI tools and techniques, collaborating with firm leadership to find compliant opportunities to improve client solutions and internal processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical Salesforce development experience with Visualforce, Apex, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (jQuery), and other SFDC components.

• More than 2 years of experience with Salesforce object design, SOQL, and SOSL.

• At least 1 year of hands-on development experience in Java, .Net, and/or Python.

• Capability to utilize out-of-the-box Salesforce functionality while also creating custom solutions using the platform's frameworks and APIs.

• Proficiency with Git, continuous integration, and other relevant development tools.

• Expertise in SQL, ETL, data pipelines, and systems integrations.

• Strong ability to use and create REST APIs.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Outstanding communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively as a team member.

• Comfort with AI: Proven ability to responsibly explore and adopt firm-approved AI tools to boost productivity and innovation.
