Senior Salesforce Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Recent experience with Cloud projects, encompassing design, development, and implementation within Experience Cloud.

• Design, develop, and implement Salesforce solutions utilizing Apex, Lightning Web Components, OmniStudio, and other Salesforce technologies based on code.

• Work closely with business analysts, stakeholders, and development teams to collect requirements and convert them into technical solutions.

• Engage in the complete software development lifecycle, which includes design, coding, testing, and deployment phases.

• Proficient in using Flow for intricate requirements, with the capability to extend to code when necessary.

• Create efficient and scalable code adhering to best practices and industry standards.

• Develop Lightning Web Components and Visualforce pages to satisfy business needs.

• Integrate Salesforce with various systems and platforms, ensuring smooth data flow and interoperability.

• Conduct code reviews to guarantee code quality, compliance with standards, and best practices.

• Troubleshoot and debug Salesforce applications, swiftly identifying and resolving issues.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including fellow developers, administrators, and QA testers, to ensure successful project outcomes.

• Remain informed about Salesforce releases, new features, and industry trends, offering recommendations to enhance development processes and applications.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, promoting a culture of knowledge sharing and ongoing learning.

• Preferred experience in the public sector or multiple Salesforce project implementations.

• Mitigate technical debt by applying coding and configuration best practices.

• Configure Salesforce to address defects and user performance issues.

• Leverage Apex codebase for customized solutions to defects.

• Address data migration challenges.

• Resolve interface-related issues.

• Break down user needs and requirements into technical user stories.

• Strong proficiency in the Salesforce platform and applications, with a comprehensive understanding of Salesforce development best practices and standards.

• Expertise in the Apex programming language and declarative tools like Flow and OmniStudio.

• Experience in creating Lightning Web Components and Visualforce pages.

• Familiarity with front-end web technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Knowledge of Salesforce integration patterns and technologies, including REST and SOAP APIs.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex requirements and design effective solutions.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, capable of working effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I, Salesforce Certified Administrator) are mandatory.

• Experience with version control systems and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines is preferred.

• Background in development projects using DevOps, Salesforce configuration, and/or Apex programming language.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Must have an interim Secret security clearance or higher.

• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and Salesforce Certified Administrator are required.

• Minimum of twelve (12) years of general work experience is essential.

• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in developing Lightning Web Components and Visualforce pages is required.

• Experience in full-stack engineering (defined as proficiency in database development/integration), including three (3) years of experience deploying Salesforce production enterprise applications.

• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.

• Must fulfill pre-employment qualifications set by Cherokee Federal.
