Senior Salesforce Consultant – Technical, AI-Enabled, Media Cloud & Agentforce

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Convert business requirements into scalable and well-architected Salesforce solutions, transitioning from AS-IS to TO-BE design.

• Facilitate client-facing engagements, including: Discovery workshops, requirements gathering, solution walkthroughs, and playback sessions.

• Manage end-to-end configuration across environments, covering: Objects, fields, record types, page layouts, validation rules, approval processes, and security models (roles, profiles, permission sets).

• Design and implement advanced Flow automation, incorporating: Cross-object logic, error handling frameworks, and scalable, maintainable automation patterns.

• Deliver solutions across core and emerging Salesforce capabilities, such as: Salesforce Media Cloud (industry-specific data models, media workflows, advertising lifecycle) and Salesforce Agentforce (AI-powered agent experiences, automation, and augmentation).

• Utilize AI-assisted tools (Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Github Copilot, or equivalent) as fundamental elements of delivery to: Accelerate and validate metadata configuration, support solution design and edge-case handling, generate documentation, test cases, and implementation artifacts, and enhance delivery speed and quality.

• Participate in solution architecture discussions, collaborating closely with Technical Architects.

• Design and maintain scalable data models, including industry-specific schemas (e.g., Media Cloud).

• Create and support integrations with third-party systems (telephony, marketing tools, document generation, data platforms).

• Take ownership of and contribute to the testing strategy, including: UAT, regression testing, and release readiness.

• Operate within structured delivery environments, including: Agile sprint planning, estimation and backlog management, and release and DevOps processes.

• Develop reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions to facilitate business decision-making.

• Assist with pre-sales activities, including demos and solution shaping.

• Mentor junior team members and establish standards for quality and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of Salesforce experience, preferably within a consultancy or multi-client delivery setting.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering end-to-end Salesforce implementations, rather than just incremental enhancements.

• Strong hands-on expertise in: Salesforce Flow (essential), data modeling, and relational data structures, as well as security and sharing models.

• Experience with: Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.

• Additional familiarity with Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or Industry Clouds is advantageous.

• Knowledge of Media Cloud or other Industry Clouds is highly beneficial.

• Practical understanding or experience with Agentforce / AI-driven Salesforce capabilities is a significant plus.

• Robust experience with: Integrations and AppExchange tools (e.g., document generation, e-signature, telephony, marketing platforms).

• Data migration and ETL tools (Data Loader, Workbench, etc.).

• Experience in Agile delivery environments adhering to DevOps practices (Jira, Git, CI/CD, SFDX).

• Practical use of AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, or similar) in Salesforce delivery is essential, encompassing: AI-assisted metadata configuration, automation design and debugging, and documentation and testing acceleration.

• Strong stakeholder management abilities, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical audiences.
